Bond - The Story

We all grew up watching Bond movies, some of us even thought that we were him in our early 20's! 

We were approached by the caretaker of the Official Quantum of Solace Movie Car, the request was to offer an unrivaled finish of clarity and high gloss - perfectly matching the near 14 layers of clear coat.

This Car would be on display at major Red Carpet events so we knew that the blend had to be absolutely perfect, offering great protection from the possibility of weather and the odd fingerprint. 

The Blend

With the brief above, we start building the blend and identify the key areas. In this case, we knew the car would be used under very bright lighting and the car would be a darker grey metallic. This let us explore the option of depth and clarity as well as gloss and reflections.  Reflections play an important part, as we don't want the lighting to overpower the paint.

The end result is staggering and fully compliments this cars Hollywood lifestyle. 

In addition, the car was also used as a promotional vehicle to celebrate 50 years of 007.

 Application & Tips 

Less is more...

Spritz microfibre pad with QD to ensure pad isn't dry, apply wax to 1/3 of the pad, do not saturate pad. 

Apply to whole car with microfibre applicator pad (you will receive One with your order) 

Leave to cure for at least 30 minutes 

Apply Two layers if possible to enhance effects

Boost longevity and gloss with Wax+

Super Wet finish, what a wax!

I did a full decon, a deep clean, strip the old wax from winter, ready for spring a new wax. Pure was first used before the wax prep the paint. I applied one thin layer and let it cure for 30min in the shade. As i removed the wax, i couldn't believe what i saw. That super wet look, and a nice reflection and made the paint look stunning. Later in the evening i went to the petrol pump, the light was bouncing of the paint, wet look & reflection. It catches people eye, compliment i got from neighbours that day. I will apply a second layer next week as the weather is warm all week. Truly is a stunning wax, really is. Thank you John for looking after my orders as always!

I was adviced by John and directed this wax for my Manhattan Grey A4 Avant... Get advice and service, I've not got to try this wax yet as in a fit of rage due to a recurring paint defect I sold the car :{

Not quite an Aston Martin but used this wax on our 1990 Diamond White XR3i. Gloss levels achieved were epic; had the added aid of M&K Pure, prior to it's application.
