The rainy season and hot summer are about to begin in Japan.
To achieve this, I applied Albert to the sides.
I'm looking forward to its anti-soiling performance.
Later when it rained some nice beading appeared.
My wife's Polo with a change of wax for the Spring/Summer months. Used Pure, Diamond Seal, then 2 coats of Emperor (24 hours apart). Emperor was so good to use - very soft and easy to apply thinly and then buff off with little effort after curing for around an hour. This one seems to be mostly about the gloss and has a great shine in the sun. Photos were taken on an overcast day but still show up the shine of Emperor.
Latest purchase from M&K, took advantage of the extra saving, for £399 this was a bargain, especially with the choices of Wax available. Didn't require 1,2 or 3 polish, John kindly swapped for alternative products. Great service as always. Thanks Scott
To be honest, it’s a very good snow foam.
It has everything I want in a neutral snow foam to maintain waxed car, as I use alkaline snow foam for the other car, such has regular cars or ceramic coated cars.
The dilution is very nice, the foam is dense but not too much, it’s easy to rinse and it doesn’t stain the floor. Pretty happy with it, like all the other Mitchell&King products I tried so far.
After I did all the preparation and put ElixrV2 on my wife’s car, she drove it for one or two weeks.
It was then time to clean it, as I wanted to take pictures in my new garage.
I started by prewashing with Snow, rinsing and then I used Cera. I was amazed by the lubrification and how my sponge was gliding with ease on the car. I used a TON of shampoos, acidic, alkaline, neutral, with SiO2, with wax… And this one beats them all hands down. The car wasn’t that dirty (and I wouldn’t waste such a good shampoo on a neglected car anyway), but it was delightful to use, and the result was very shiny.
Summer seems to have arrived early here so changed my M&K wax to Cardinal which I've been waiting to try. As usual buttery smooth to apply and easy off. Started with Pure followed by Diamond Seal and then 2 coats of Cardinal (24 hours apart) Super wet look in the sunshine and has a lovely rich warm glow in the shade and later in the evening. Great job John.
Tried this product after watching Martin @ OCD on YouTube. The result was amazing, I cannot give it enough praise. The photo doesn't really do it justice. I applied it by machine with a very very soft wax pad. Even the wife has commented how good the car looks!
After a full decon wash, an application of Pure, a coat of Titan, I used ElixrV2 as the wax for my wife’s car. I watched John videos, asked him for tips (thanks a lot) and decided to apply two coats.
It was as smooth as putting butter on bread. The wax spreads so easily that it makes the whole process very very enjoyable, even if you don’t know much about wax. The results came lovely, I will let you take a look at the pictures.
Again, thanks John for quality of your products and for your kindness.
After cleansing the paint with Pure, I followed by applying a coat of Titan. Very easy to use, 4-6 peas on a finishing pad on my 21mm DA. The wipe off is just as nice as the application, one swipe with a soft clean towel and it’s gone, nothing left on the panel, nothing greasy. Just a glossy and smooth surface.
Last summer I did the terrible mistake of washing my wife’s car under the sun, and even though I rinsed the soap as fast as I could, it left some deposits all over the paint.
I didn’t want to polish them out because the car is ceramic coated.
I was very happy to see that Pure, applied on very soft pad for my 21mm DA, cleansed the clear coat without removing the coating. Almost all of the traces are gone, the paint was in a better shape. Absolutely satisfied by this product.
Year old Audi A3 in for it's Spring Clean, Owner wanted a wet / glossy look and picked Glasgow as his wax. Car was fully prepared using M&K products. Paintwork was treated to Pure, Titan & then Glasgow. Lovely end result.
I did my spring clean of my Mazda 3 today and used a number of M&K products I have not used before. I washed with Strip then used AIO then used Diamond Seal both 1st time uses then used Summire for the 1st time on the Soul Red Crystal to an excellent effect even my neighbour commented on the Gloss and the fact it brought out the red. I have been wanting to try this wax for a while as I saw the Red Mercedes that John had just videoed for the launch of this wax and I was very impressed that day and was impressed today with the ease of use easy on and off leaving the car stunning.
Had a sample in a recent order. Easy to apply and remove in single digit temperature. Lovely finish.
Used this a couple of times now after firstly washing with Cera. Used as a top up protection to the wax previously applied to add to the waxes durability. Easy on easy to buff off leaving car looking great. Another brilliant product from M&K.
Used this a couple of times now. Very smooth feeling shampoo on the paintwork, wash mitt glides nicely over the car very easily. Perfect especially if the car has already been waxed. Excellent product.
It is good. You might even love it.
It is not a thriller in terms of application. But a looker IT is.
No the slickest one to spread. But efficient. It requires time before you buff. Like half of na hour to cure. I like it. I left it over night.
It is not scented.
Can cloud a bit but it will buff with a single touch. It is good. This is natural wax full of oils.
Looks wise. On top of pure and titan. I have it panel to panel close to lets use the names - zymol atlantique and pinacle souveran. It is close. And thoes are two kickers on a red paint. It is not just my eyes.
Quite of an achievement!! This is a thing to appreciate. You are getting top results.
It terms od overall experience. Not for noobies. For conneseurs in the game. And you might also appreciate this style. The process. The decision made to focus. A lot of waxes try to tackle all considerable things well. Not many are focused. And at a point of this hobby, you do not care on everything but chase the wow factor, accepting an honest compromise and it is wellcome.
In terms of other MK waxes to look for. Zircon. Overall experience is close to or about, swissvax utopia. John. You need to do zircon on steroid! This is amazing experience wax. And it smelss super nice. Elixir even better.
For anyone reading this. We do split hairs here comparing to some expensive and truely world class waxes. It is uncommon to get even close.
Do not tackle price and longetivity in details..Pioneer is promissing good daily performance. Waxes i compare it to, are much more expensive, or lasts jusfor a month, a moment;) that's about much as gentleman should talk on this.
I ordered a bunch of Mk waxes. Now having it for a year and so. I dont get it. About me. Years in the game having good collection of waxes. 50plus. Including high shelf od Swiss and US based high rollers.
Amalfi i got is in top spot the most terrible wax i tried..smells mineral spiriys and bad oils. Id live with the smell as at a point on the game, you look for wow factors. Ekhm souveran...
Cant, and tried many times, Polish it. It will give you clouding and stuff like nothing elese. Like 5 times and needs qd to remove. Can leave the car for three days and wipe it every 10hrs and still it will cloud.
Sorry to leave this review. But we need to be honest on this.
Big plus for MK. I got the other wax after sending complain.
Skip it.
Hi Yayaya,
Thanks for the review, however, we had agreed the product was faulty and possibly damaged during shipment. We sent out a new wax and requested you to dispose of the old one due to the fault, essentially what I am reading is a note on the faulty product and not the replacement, which seems strange.
First use of this wax and what can I say, unreal wet look!! I would say it takes a couple of hours at least to cure so as it’s easy to buff off. I’ve used Swissvax in the past which I’m a big fan of but this wax is every bit as good in every way at a much better price! I used ‘Pure’ before application and it left the paint so slick and ready for the wax. Big fan of M&K now and can see me using more and more of their products. 👌
My CLA received a makeover with this stunning wax. Glossy/wet look but with a little warm glow especially as the light fades seems to be the result on the dark blue metallic paint. Used Pure, Titan then 2 coats of Paisley wax (24 hours apart) allowing each to cure for about an hour. Easy to apply and remove - a little goes a long way. Got a few plans as to what waxes I'll try on my cars come the spring/summer. There is nothing to compare to M&K products. Very happy customer.
My wife's 10 year old VW Polo looks great after being worked on with Pure, Titan and 2 coats of Le Mans wax (24 hours apart). Exterior plastics done with Trim. All so easy to apply and remove. Both my wife and I so pleased with the results. Very impressive products.
