How to use your new M&K wax

The best guide to applying car wax

Hello, thanks for taking a look. I will explain how to get the best from your new M&K wax.

Our waxes cure hard and have relatively low evaporation which is the key to a great looking finish, more product remains on your paint.

Spritz microfibre pad with QD (don't use foam pads)
Apply the wax to 1/3 of the pad
Spread wax over panel, if it's your first time you can start with one panel to get a feel for the wax.
Ensure the wax has been spread very thin, you should still be able to see your metallic flake and only see the odd trace of wax
Depending on the wax you purchased will dictate the curing time. For instance, as a general rule, waxes under £90 cure within 10 minutes, whereas our core and luxury waxes, please allow to cure for upto 30 minutes, this is a generalisation and will depend on your climate. Humid climates will take longer.
Swipe your finger and if the wax swipes clean, then it is fully cured - you can now remove with a microfibre which has been spritzed with QD.
If the wax isn't cured due to over application, follow the next step
Spritz microfibre with QD and gently pass the microfibre over the paint, very little pressure is required, we are just removing the "uncured layer"
Leave for a further 15/20 minutes and then repeat step 6.

Photos says it all

I used many of Mitchell and King Luxury waxes, but in my opinion this is my favorite wax of theirs. It goes on buttery smooth and removing it after it sets up is a breeze. Of course, preparation of the waxing surface is most important, I used a wax removing de com detergent to clean my SUV, I then used Pure to further clean my paint and then used Titan Sealant on my vehicle, though it's not needed to wait that long, I let the sealant setup over night and the next day I again washed my vehicle with just water and then applied the Sumire wax, application of the wax went on smoothly and after 60 minutes I buffed off the wax and in my opinion the results were great, I love the depth and gloss it gave to my paint.

Absolutely not like M&K

After using soft 99 glaco, I was keen to try this product, well I cleaned my windscreen and rear window, polished it with flawless then applied vision, what a disappointment, I might as well had nothing on the windows, absolutely a waste of an afternoon preparing for glass. I would not recommend this product at all, I have to say this is the first bad product I have used with this company. Sorry John but I am only telling the truth.

Superb Wax

Used Glasgow for the first time yesterday on an Audi S3. The wax was very soft and a little went a long way. Took longer than expected to cure but I put that down to either over application or the damp conditions.
The paintwork had PURE, BAVAIRA, TITAN & GLASGOW applied all by hand. What an outstanding finish. The owner sent me the picture today. Thanks M&K.

I applied Wax+ on the Sumire.
This is my favorite spray wax and it is very easy to use.
I captured the autumn sky on the Bonnet.
