We need to get your bifocal or varifocal lenses right, this is how it works *
When you order bifoclas or varifocals we send the frames out to you before making your prescription lenses. You will use the frames to take some important measurments. Next, you'll send back your frames free of charge so that we can produce your perfect prescription lenses. Transition lenses are the lenses that darken in the sunlight and lighten in softer light or the dark. They offer both style and convenience, and can help protect your eyes from UV. Our lenses use genuine Transitions technology.

Heather is a heavy duty wax, designed to withstand a harsh Scottish winter. Heather has a high wax content which helps with the characteristics of giving maximum protection.

Heather is a hard wax, however is still very easy to use and the oils used harden over time which help the wax to improve over a 24/48hr period.

Heather will also make your daily driver super glossy and still give you the longevity of approx. 4-6 months with a regular maintenance wash. A 200ml jar will give you up to 50 applications and has a heavenly heather fragrance.

All waxes and handmade and hand-poured to maintain the quality expected from Mitchell and King.

Application Tips & Techniques : 

Heather is a natural wax and is absolutely stunning, to get the best from it. Use the following stages. 

Spray microfibre applicator pad with quick detailer (do not use a foam applicator, as the key natural oils will be absorbed and won't apply to the paint) 

Use 1/3 of the pad and apply the wax to a panel at a time. 

Depending on the weather, if it is cold and damp, the wax can take longer to cure. 

If you find the wax grabby, too much has been applied or not left for long enough. Simply use a primed (with quick detailer) microfibre and remove the first skin. We now have a perfect layer of uncured wax which we will allow to cure for upto 30 minutes.

Part time waxer
Spa & Heather combination

I was a bit tight for time so didn't manage to follow my usual routine of applying Pure and Titan before waxing - that said, a combination of Spa and Heather still gave an amazing shine. Easy on, easy off Heather is a nice wax to work with, providing lots of gloss and depth of colour.

Used the heather wax. Great shine following a machine polish and M&K Titan. Will say it is not as easy to apply as say R222 100% carnauba, but the longevity should be much better. Also like the QD as a a means to remove extra residue. Only a small amount of product needed so should last ages. Overall very happy with the result plus the smell while applying is an added bonus!

This is also a great luster

Although I live in Japan, I have never met a car wax in Japan that can obtain the same luster and brilliance as this "HEATHER". "Crema" is great, but "HEATHER" is also great. I'm looking forward to finding the next nice wax at Mitchell and King.
