Glasgow is a fantastic wax, or as we would say pure, dead brilliant! Being my place of birth, I had to do right by Glasgow as it has done right by me. So, I combined two of the top-tier finishes, Gloss & Wetness. 

Glasgow is known for its academia, vibrant social scene, fantastic art, rich ship-building history, and warmth towards visitors and for the last 20 years, it has played host to the finest wax maker (that's me by the way, incase there was any confusion). A place that I have called home for nearly 40 years, so this had to be a special one, a belter as we like to say. 

This wax is made from ingredients that would not look out of place in a luxury face cream, the luxurious oils and waxes work seamlessly together to create a layer of gloss and a dash of wetness that will turn heads...even in Glasgow, ye cannae whack it, again not literally our insurance doesn't cover abuse towards the paint. 

You might notice a prominent traffic cone on the label, this is a nod to our treasured and decorated, both militarily and with a bright orange traffic cone, Duke of Wellington...he won the battle of waterloo and was Prime Minister twice, he was born in Dublin -, I am not quite sure as to why we have a statue in the centre of Glasgow, but as you will understand, he's one of our own now, and Men climb his statue to reinstate or the change the cone, mainly after a few "electric soups". The Iron Duke was also recently named by Banksy as his favourite sculpture, although I am convinced he was talking about the cone. As you can see we don't take ourselves too seriously, but our emotions are also very close to the surface...which is tricky.

Our company history and employees stretch to the site of the historic shipbuilding in Govan, those of you might have heard Billy Connoly talk about this just a few times (if you haven't heard of Billy Connoly, if you have a wee look on YouTube...right after you buy this wax). We've been in the National Park which has ties to Rob Roy and Mary Queen of Scots. We are now back to the canal that helped to shape this incredible city, bringing in raw materials during the Industrial Revolution and the odd dram. 

I've been very fortunate to have been involved with this fantastic company over the years, meeting some of the most passionate and skilled enthusiasts and this special blend of car wax is a thank-you for all that you have allowed me to create and driven this passion to new heights. So, I've settled, as truth be told...I can't face another move anytime soon!! I am incredibly humbled by the reviews, especially the 5 star ones, it makes the late nights and early mornings nearly worth it!
